Description
Environmental Screening is an IEM tool which is used in determining whether a proposed development will require Environmental Impact Assessment and if so, the level of assessment that is required. Not only is environmental screening a legal requirement in terms of the EIA regulations and an obligation of the EAP, but it also has certain benefits for the proponent (client) as well as the EAP.
Learn how to conduct environmental screening. Learn about listing notices and how to use them. Included are sample environmental screening checklists which you can use, as well as screening exercises (with solutions) to test your expertise.
